Fresh food selections
Jeng Jeng Jeng! Varieties of food to be barbequed or boiled, bloating my tummy with FOODS! Another food hunting mission with my friend, feast like a King/Queen and satisfying our taste buds with any luscious food that we are able to get! This time, we set our foot in Ampang, hunting for steamboat/BBQ buffet! =D It’s quite far from my place and I got to know about this restaurant through everyday.com. Teehee. It’s quite exciting because I don’t know about this restaurant initially and thank God that it turns out to be quite good. =)
More fresh foods!
Korean Stone BBQ Steamboat has 2 tray of raw foods as selection, it’s quite fresh and they’ll constantly refill the tray that is soon to be emptied. The service is quite good, though. The environment is a little dim, especially for tables at the corner. We got the one in the dimmer corner and it’s quite tough for us to BBQ our food. We end up burning few beef slices. Haha! They have various dry ingredients like mushrooms, seaweeds, eggs and etc at the other corner too. I’m lazy to take photos of every corner since the restaurant is quite roomy. Oh, the bad point with the environment is they have cats roaming around the restaurants. =S The cats scares me with their furry tail. wtf.
The drinks corner
Various of drinks available, they even serve dried chrysanthemum and hot water for you to make chrysanthemum tea! LOL. The big love would be the Ice Kacang because you can choose the amount and toppings that you wanna add! This is rare because even the catering service doesn’t really give you the right portion of your desired topping. I had my bowl filled with milk, rose extract syrup, Cola syrup, and without any red bean that day! LOL. I’m so excited with the whole ice kacang thingie that my friend gone speechless. LOL!

Fuck this shit
Being a total Jakun, I ate froggies (田鸡) before but I guess I never have taken such BIG froggie. Alright, I only saw cooked frog on the table, never those that are still breathing. wtf. They may look small in the picture, but I need to use both of my hand to hold 1 frog. Imagine how HUGE they are! This creeps me out because you can see them struggling for space in this small tank and they’ll climb over each other occasionally. wtf.
I didn’t get them on my table. I worry that I’ll scream the shit out of every living organism in the restaurant. =S
Did you see this in the 5th picture? This is the contrast between the big clam vs the normal clam. I prefer to have it barbequed. It may take longer to cook but it’s worth it. Super fresh and delicious even without adding any sauce!

This restaurant is on first floor. It’s very easy to spot during the night because they have their signboard well decorated with lights! =)
